Corporate Sponsorship Opportunity

Dear North Port Business Owner:

Claim your piece of North Port history. 

A wonderful project has been approved by the City of North Port, and a handful of local businesses will have the opportunity to participate with the rest of our town while enjoying a philanthropic branding opportunity that will last for many, many years to come.

North Port residents—K-12 school children and local artists — will be creating tiled art which will be displayed on CommuniCans (metal trash receptacles) and placed throughout the parks and public spaces of North Port. Your business can participate in this exciting project by being a sponsor.   

Similar projects have been completed by ESI in communities in Southern California and the positive public reaction was overwhelming. The colorful art in public spaces beautifies the community and brings art instruction to the children in the area schools and recreation facilities.

This project is unique in that it requires the participation of community residents and business owners to make it happen. 

Our goal is to have 50 CommuniCans created for the city of North Port to coincide with the city’s 50th Anniversary this year. Sponsorships are on a first come, first served basis, and the more prominent locations will go fast, so take action to assure a good location.

All donations are tax deductible and would allow for your name or your business’ name to be placed on a plaque on a public CommuniCan in recognition of your contribution.
